One of my favs is to use kitchen shelf lining for black I print out my outlines on regular paper and glue it to the paper baking on the lining. The self adhesive vinyl label stock works well but is heavier. That stuff was cheap but it had large areas that didn't accept ink and the company wouldn't do anything about it. My only negative experince was with Bel Decal. I had great result with the Micro Mark stuff though it is more expensive. My experience with water slide decals is that Krylon clear spray with 3 coats is required for all of them. Do a search on Decals and you'll see some pretty neat ideas.
